Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson began dating in 2013

They share two sons: Tatum, born in 2015, and River, born in 2017

The pro golfer and model — who is the eldest daughter of former hockey player and coach Wayne Gretzky — wed in Tennessee in April 2022

Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson are proud boy parents.

The model and daughter of Wayne Gretzky and the six-time World Golf Champion began dating in 2013 and tied the knot at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee on April 23, 2022, after a nearly 10-year engagement. They welcomed their first child, son Tatum, on Jan. 19, 2015. Their second son, River Jones, joined the family on June 12, 2017.

Not long after Tatum's birth, Paulina raved about Johnson following the golfer's Cadillac Championship victory in March 2015, telling PEOPLE, "Dustin's the best dad. He's my best friend. He's been so supportive with me, and we're just there for each other."

As their kids have gotten older, the Los Angeles native knows that teamwork is what makes the family dream work.

"The example I set for my kids with Dustin is we have to do it together," Paulina told Kind Magazine (via Yahoo Style) in October 2023. "We're not always on the same page, but we trust each other enough so that I know he's doing right by our children and he knows I'm doing right by our kid — we talk about it, but at the fundamental level is trust."

Paulina announced on Instagram in September 2014 that she and Johnson were expecting their first child together.

The couple welcomed son Tatum on Jan. 19, 2015, making legendary hockey player Wayne a first-time grandpa.

"Both Paulina and the baby are healthy, resting comfortably and in great spirits," Johnson said in a statement at the time.

The LIV Golf pro also wrote on Instagram, "We are so blessed to have a happy and healthy baby boy."

Paulina and Tatum are the pro golfer's biggest supporters.

They can often be seen cheering him on from the sidelines, as they did when he won the U.S. Open in June 2016.

"Honey, I'm forever & always your biggest fan," Gretzky wrote on Instagram after Johnson, who shared the same photo on Instagram, won the 2020 Masters Tournament.

The tournament took place at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Penn., in June 2016 and marked Johnson's first of many major wins throughout his career.

"From the first day [Tatum] was born, your perspective on life completely changes," Johnson said following Tatum's birth. "Things that were important aren't important anymore. He's the only thing that's really important."

Win or lose, Paulina has always been a huge support system for her beau. Following the Genesis Open in February 2017, the family gathered in excitement on the green during the tournament's final round at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

"She's such a big supporter of mine ... obviously with golf or any professional athlete, or even a business, you got to have somebody to support you," Johnson told PEOPLE of Paulina in December 2020. "I've spent a lot of time away from home, or at the golf course, or traveling on the road, whatever it is. So you need that special person, especially with the kids, she does a great job taking care of everything else, so all I got to do is worry about golf."

Like father, like son! When Johnson's youngest was just 2, he proved he already had his daddy's athletic genes.

In a video shared by Janet on Instagram in November 2019, River could be seen making perfect contact with a golf ball as he swung his club, complete with a follow-through.

In June 2022, Johnson said that he's "always doing something active" with his kids.

"I mean, it's nonstop every day, all day," he told PEOPLE. "Baseball, basketball, swimming."
