Seven women have sued celebrity hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai, his company and a former employee, alleging they enabled Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse
The lawsuit alleges women were sent to Fekkai’s salons for hair services at Epstein’s direction
Fekkai’s representative Mark Herr strongly denied the allegations, saying Fekkai “has done nothing wrong”
Frédéric Fekkai’s representative is denying allegations that the celebrity hairstylist and his salons helped Jeffrey Epstein groom and control women after seven women filed a lawsuit accusing Fekkai and his company of enabling Epstein’s alleged abuse.
“These allegations are false. Mr. Fekkai has done nothing wrong,” Fekkai’s representative, Mark Herr, said in a statement provided to PEOPLE. “He has no idea whether any Epstein victim was among the tens of thousands of people whose hair was cut every year by the hundreds of Fekkai salon employees.”
“He never participated in any illegal behavior,” Herr continued of Fekkai, adding, “He knew nothing about Epstein’s repugnant depravity or trafficking.”
The statement comes after five women identified as Jane Doe 1 through Jane Doe 5, along with Kersti Ferguson and Audra Christiansen, filed a lawsuit against Fekkai, his company and former Fekkai salon employee Patrick Coombs in New York Supreme Court on Sept. 1.

The women allege that Fekkai enabled Epstein’s “gender-motivated violence” against them by providing salon services to women at his direction.
In the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Epstein sent them to Fekkai’s salons and that their appearances were styled according to his preferences.
“Fekkai groomed the victims to look as young as possible under Epstein’s direction,” the lawsuit alleges. “Epstein would direct Fekkai to bleach victims blond and groomed them like dolls into Epstein’s and other’s liking.”
The lawsuit also alleges that Fekkai’s salons were used as places where Epstein and his associates could carry out activities connected to his alleged trafficking operation. The complaint specifically names a Fekkai salon at 712 Fifth Avenue, which was located inside the Henri Bendel department store.
The plaintiffs further allege that Epstein assisted with the creation of Fekkai’s company and that Fekkai and Coombs used their positions at the company to help Epstein control and groom women. The complaint also alleges that the defendants benefited financially and socially from their relationship with Epstein.
The lawsuit also references statements made by Rep. Thomas Massie on Aug. 31. According to the complaint, Massie named Fekkai among 14 people he said should be investigated and prosecuted in connection with Epstein.

The filing includes a screenshot of a post from Massie’s X account in which he said he had read the names of several alleged Epstein “coconspirators” on the House floor.
The complaint additionally references a June 4 letter from House Republicans to the Department of Justice that allegedly called for an investigation into Fekkai and described him as a “longtime assistant” to Epstein who was allegedly “complicit in the abuse.”
The plaintiffs are seeking financial damages, as well as legal fees and other relief from the court.
Two of the plaintiffs also spoke with CNN about their experiences, sharing details that were not included in the complaint.

One woman recalled being sent by Epstein to a Fekkai salon in Manhattan when she was around 19. When she told the stylist how she wanted her hair cut, she said the stylist responded, “Those aren’t the instructions I got.”
She also recalled Epstein later complimenting her new look, telling her it was “so close” to what he wanted.
A second plaintiff told the outlet that when she later visited a Fekkai salon in New York, the stylist appeared to already have instructions about how her hair should look.
“He had instructions and that’s all. You went in there and that was it,” she told CNN. “It’s not like he was like: ‘So what are we doing with your hair today?’ ”
