David Beckham drew attention from England fans on social media Saturday for his enthusiastic singing of "God Save the King" ahead of the Three Lions' World Cup quarterfinal against Norway at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Cameras at the stadium caught the former England captain belting out the anthem alongside his wife, Victoria Beckham, days after he was seen emphatically reacting to a massive Harry Kane miss vs. Ghana.
Beckham's presence at the match came after he hosted England's squad at his Inter Miami training facility in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, opening up the Florida Blue Training Center ahead of the team's quarterfinal clash with Erling Haaland and Norway.

Clips of Beckham singing along circulated on X, with fans reacting warmly to the moment. One user joked that the broadcast director cutting to Beckham during the anthem made sense "because we all know that's the king we're really singing about."
Others focused on the rare sight of Victoria at a match, with one fan writing, "You know it's serious for David Beckham tonight if he managed to convince Victoria to watch a match."
Additional posts praised the couple's show of national pride, with one calling them "a true power couple showing respect during the national anthem."

Beckham, who serves as president and co-owner of Inter Miami, was joined at the Fort Lauderdale session by his sons Romeo and Cruz, and took time to speak individually with several players, including captain Harry Kane, before England took to the field for training.
Kane later described the visit as a meaningful morale boost for the squad.
"He just wished us luck. After most games, he messages me and we stay in touch," Kane said. "He's obviously a big England fan. We know how much it meant for him to play for England and be captain. He was there to support us.”
He continued: “We were obviously using his home, the home he's built, so we appreciate him doing that for us. Ultimately, it was good to catch up with him and for the other lads to have a chat with him. He is an English legend, he was wishing us well and hopefully we can do him proud tomorrow."

Beckham, capped 115 times for England during a playing career that included spells at Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain, captained the national team for six years and remains one of English football's most recognizable figures.
He has continued to make appearances throughout this summer's World Cup, following England's campaign closely as Thomas Tuchel's side pushed toward a third straight quarterfinal appearance.
England enters Saturday's match against Norway aiming to reach the semifinals for the first time in the current tournament format.
The winner will advance to face either Argentina or Switzerland in the World Cup semifinals, with two heavyweights in France and Spain on the opposite side of the bracket.
