Dax Shepard let people know where he stands about getting plastic surgery in a new episode of Armchair Expert with Zach Braff
During the episode, the actor said he's debated getting a facelift but finds value in looking "weirdly authentic" as he ages
Braff agreed, adding that he's seen enough procedures that've gone "awry" to sway him away from cosmetic enhancements
Dax Shepard has been thinking about his looks.
He and Scrubs star Zach Braff opened up about their thoughts on going under the knife amid Hollywood's new trend of stars being open about plastic surgery. During the newest episode of his podcast, Armchair Expert, Shepard, 51, admitted that he's gone back and forth about getting a facelift.
“I have zero judgment if someone does it. I don’t give a f--- if anyone gets a facelift,” he said in the March 16 episode, adding that "80 percent of the time" he wants to stay exactly how he is.

“I’m like, this is actually kind of cool. I’m going to be one of the few people that didn’t have a facelift, and I’m going to look weirdly authentic. I think that’s going to have some weird value,” he explained. “Like, I think I’m choosing the right path."
The other 20% of the time, "I’m like, this is crazy. Why wouldn’t I [get a facelift]? I have the money, and I am vain."
Braff, 50, admitted that he's seen too many results go "awry" for him to be tempted by plastic surgery. But, there was once a time he "might have" considered altering his appearance.

"Also, if you and I all the sudden had little cute noses and a f---ing pronounced chin and jawline, wouldn't people be like, 'What the f--- did you do?'" added Braff, who also said that his image aligns with the kind of roles he's auditioning for.

“I think it helps us that we’re the age we are, because now I’m playing a grizzled cop, a dad. The parts are different. You’re not trying to be the leading man who gets the girl. I was never competing for those roles, really. I did one or two of those, but I was never going to be the Glen Powell of the moment."
Not many male celebrities have addressed the growing conversation around plastic surgery. However, back in January, Bradley Cooper broke his silence on the rumors about his looks, which the internet believed was enhanced with cosmetic tweaks. On the Jan. 5 SmartLess podcast, co-host Will Arnett recalled a time when he was asked to name one thing about Cooper that people don't know about him.
"I said, 'Well, there's a lot'," he began. "And then I was gonna I was gonna say, because we keep reading everybody thinks that Bradley's had plastic surgery. Everybody keeps saying that. I'm like, 'What people don't know is that he hasn't.' Right?" he added.
"No, I get people [coming] up to me the last couple weeks," said Cooper, explaining, "They're like, 'Oh, you look good! Yeah. Yeah, but it's a crazy—."
