Jason Kelce is sharing his love for a South Side Chicago doughnut shop.

The retired NFL player took to Instagram to shout out Old Fashioned Donuts in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, where Burritt Bulloch, 87, has been making doughnut for over 50 years.

Kelce shared a carousel of mouthwatering snapshots of the shop's doughnuts, along with videos of him reviewing them while interacting with Bulloch and customers.

The first image in the carousel shows an array of glistening glazed donuts, with the ones in the back being bathed in a white glaze.

In the second slide, Kelce introduces the shop (and its 87-year-old owner) in a video.

“We're outside of Old Fashioned Donuts in Chicago, where a man named Mr. B has been cookin' em up since, I think it's like 1972” Kelce said.

Bulloch introduces himself by his full name, clarifying that he is “better known as Mr. B.” He says he's been making doughnuts at Old Fashioned Donuts since 1972. Combined with his additional years working at a different bakery, that means Bulloch has been making donuts for 63 years.

Kelce continues that everyone in Chicago was raving about Mr. B's doughnuts, adding that he always likes to try new donuts on the road.

“I love a good glazed doughnuts,” he said. “Let's go check em out.”

The video then shows the process of Bulloch making doughnuts. In another video, he shares that he was turning 87 on October 5, 2025.

“You're 87?” Kelce asked Bulloch while Bulloch works on the doughnut dough. “I'll be 87,” Bulloch confirmed.

“Crazy,” Kelce said. “Keeping busy.”

“You know who else is October 5? My brother,” Kelce shared of his brother, Travis Kelce's birthday. “Is that right?” Bulloch replied as the two laughed.

“He's October 5th, and his number is 87!” Kelce remarked.

Some sleuthing commenters noted Kelce connecting his brother and Bulloch with numerology, a penchant of Travis's fiancée Taylor Swift.

“Which one do you want?” Kelce asks a regular customer named Daniel in another video, pointing to a dozen doughnuts on a table in front of them. The box has five glazed doughnut, along with a coconut one, a doughnut coated in cereal and more.

When Daniel says it doesn't matter to him, Kelce shares his preferences.

“I want that strawberry one, and I'm gonna have a glazed. And I'll eat the chocolate one. So any of the other ones,” he said.

Daniel joked that Kelce claimed dibs on “all of them.”

Another video shows Kelce trying the glazed doughnut, which he rips apart to find “good rigidity.”

Kelce shouts for Mr. B in the kitchen, telling him, “this doughnut is very good, sir, thank you very much.”

“Can I shake your hand, sir?” he asks.

“That is a f---in damn good doughnut,” Kelce tells the camera. “The reason is, the dough is perfect, the structure in there is just spot-on. It's got good rigidity to it, it's still light and fluffy, it's got some heft to it. The glaze, they don't overdo it, it just is like a perfect balanced doughnut. Unreal. It's unreal.”

In another video, Kelce tries a massive apple fritter.

“Not a big apple fritter guy,” he says before taking a bite and immediately changing his mind. “I am a big apple fritter guy.”

“This place is freakin' awesome,” Kelce says in his video outro. “The doughnuts are incredible.”

“Best cake doughnut I've ever had in my life. Apple fritter – I don't think I've ever had one apple fritter that I liked, that thing was amazing,” he said. “These guys do it right across the board.”

“You can tell this place is just a pinnacle of the community,” he added. “Mr. B is the freakin' legend.”

He praised the community and workers involved in the store.

Kelce admitted in his caption of the post, which he shared months after visiting the store, that he meant to share the post at the beginning of the football season.

Still, “I have to shout out Mr. Bs Old Fashioned Donuts in Chicago,” Kelce emphasized.

“Mr. B has been serving them up for over 5 decades,” he wrote. “And it shows!! This place has Flavor, Character, and a spirit like no other, it's clearly a community staple.”

“Shoutout to Mr. B and everyone else serving up some killer fried Dough in Roseland on Chicago's South Side,” he continued. “It's all good, the glazed doughnuts are insane, and the Apple Fritter, my goodness, I didn't even think I liked Apple Fritters.”

“Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!” he urged his followers.

His brother, Travis Kelce, was certainly influenced by the post.

“😳😳 damn those look perfect,” the Chiefs tight end commented.

The Kelce brothers also showed their support for the doughnut shop with a comment from their podcast New Heights.

“The glaze is crazy,” the podcast's Instagram account commented.

This isn't the first time Kelce has publicly shouted out Old Fashioned Donuts.

In a post on X on Sept. 8, 2025, he replied to a fan who said it was “super dope to see him repping Roseland staple Old Fashioned Donuts” on Monday Night Football.”

An image showed Kelce wearing a shirt from Old Fashioned Donuts.

“Mr. B made the best Apple Fritter I've ever had, and I don't even like Apple Fritters. Old Fashioned Donuts in Chicago is an absolute gem,” Kelce wrote at the time. “He opened the place in 1972, hasn't had an off day since. Turns 87 on Oct, 5th. The workers, the food, it was all just a fantastic experience.”
