Love Island USA fans beg show bosses for major format change as they accuse network of 'lying'

The Love Island USA Season 8 fans were not happy that the episode aired earlier than originally scheduled.
The Peacock reality dating series aired its season 8 finale on Sunday, July 12. The episode included the final four couples: Kayda and Zach, Trinity and Bryce, Aniya and Carl, and Melanie and Sincere. The episode was initially set to air at 9 PM EST, but the network pulled it earlier, and people posted spoilers about who won the finale.
The fan-favorite couple, Trinity and Bryce, were crowned the winners and got the cash prize. The two were original Islanders and have been together from the very beginning.

Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their anger at the episode airing earlier than planned, especially with all the spoilers leaking online.
There were also suggestions on how the network could prevent that from happening.
A fan wrote, "Peacock needs to make the love island finale live like the uk version does, so many spoilers already.."

A second fan said, "If I learned anything from this season of Love Island USA, it’s that peacocks are LIARS and that the episodes actually drop at 5:35 PM."
Another said, "opened this app to immediate Love Island spoilers…it just hit 9 pm."
A fourth person exclaimed, "Some for y’all are rude asf for exposing the winners so early."
The final episode showed each of the final four couples on romantic dates. Melanie and Sincere's date consisted of a massage for Melanie and making pizza. Kayda and Zach's included a high-speed boat ride before dining at a tablescape.
Carl and Aniya's candlelit dinner recreated a fairytale setting. Trinity and Bryce had dinner that included a performance from fire dancers.

The season has been filled with drama both inside and outside the show. For example, there was fellow contestant Vansana Montgomery, who was booted from Love Island USA ahead of the premiere when videos resurfaced of her saying a racial slur.
A second contestant, a Casa Amor girl, Alannah Keyser, following a social media post, also showed her using and saying a racial slur.
Inside the villa, there was the major drama of Sincere and Melanie. Sincere's lies were exposed during movie night, when Melanie found out he was messing around with Sol while telling her otherwise. And also how he told Casa Amor girl, Amora, that he would have been the one if he had more time.
There was also the moment with KC and Aniya, where KC was dismissive towards her feelings and made a disparaging comment towards her (which was revealed to Aniya on movie night) during Casa Amor time. KC had picked Titi over Aniya.
