Lucid (LCID) stock surged to $6.57, with support from Q4 2025 revenue of $522.73M, up 122% YoY.

NIO (NIO) stock rallied to $6.52, bolstered by record Q4 2025 deliveries of 124,807 vehicles and 18% vehicle margin.

Tesla (TSLA) stock climbed toward $450, driven by FSD subscriptions reaching 1.28M up 51% YoY and Q1 FY2026 revenue of $22.39B.

The U.S.-listed electric vehicle complex is catching a coordinated bid in Wednesday's midday session. Lucid Group (NASDAQ:LCID) shares are up 9% to around $6.57, NIO (NYSE:NIO) stock has rallied 7% to $6.52, and Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares have climbed 4% to roughly $450.

The move spans geographies, with Lucid representing the U.S. luxury EV story, NIO trading as a Chinese ADR, and Tesla anchoring the global EV pure-play category. That breadth suggests a sentiment-driven sector rotation across the group.

Heading into Wednesday, the three names told very different year-to-date stories. NIO stock entered the session up 19% year to date (YTD), Tesla shares were down 4%, and Lucid stock was the deep laggard at -43%.

EV Complex Catches a Coordinated Bid

There is no single dominant headline driving today's rip across Tesla, NIO, and Lucid. Instead, the EV basket is moving on shared exposure to demand expectations, rate sensitivity, and big-ticket discretionary sentiment. When the group rotates, investors tend to buy the entire complex rather than handpick names.

The intraday extremes tell the story. Lucid stock traded as low as $5.83 before reversing to a session high of $6.63, a sharp recovery from compressed levels. NIO shares are riding momentum that has already produced a 56% one-year gain.

Tesla stock, meanwhile, has been the dominant near-term performer of the trio. TSLA shares are up 28% over the past month and 35% over the past year, reclaiming the $450 handle that prediction markets had flagged as a key level.

Distinct Catalysts Underneath the Group Trade

Each company carries its own narrative beneath the headline rally. Lucid has been working through supplier quality issues, a CEO transition, and capital intensity concerns through 2026, with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund still anchoring the cap table. Lucid's Q4 2025 revenue came in at $522.73 million, up 122% year over year.

NIO has leaned on operational execution and market share recovery in China, posting record Q4 2025 deliveries of 124,807 vehicles and a vehicle margin of 18%. The company guided for Q1 2026 revenue between $3.5 billion and $3.6 billion, an enormous step up year over year.

Tesla's story remains tied to Full Self-Driving uptake, the Cybercab rollout, and Optimus. Q1 FY2026 revenue hit $22.39 billion, and FSD subscriptions reached 1.28 million, up 51% year over year.

Forward Crowd Sees Tesla Holding the Bid

Polymarket traders are pricing strong conviction that Tesla stock closes higher today, with the "up" outcome trading at 98% probability. The $450 May target carries a 100% implied probability, suggesting the level is already priced in.

For Lucid, the prediction market signal is more cautious. The composite sentiment score sits at 38.15, leaning bearish, even with today's pop. NIO sentiment registers at 66.11, a medium-confidence bullish read that aligns with its year-to-date leadership.

What to Watch

The key question is whether the EV complex holds the gains into the close. Tesla stock is pushing toward $450, a technical milestone, while Lucid stock and NIO shares need follow-through to confirm a sentiment shift rather than a one-day squeeze.

Prudent investors should remember that EV names have whipped in both directions throughout 2026. Single-session rallies rarely mark a sustained inflection, especially for Lucid given execution risks and for NIO given Chinese competitive pressure from BYD, Xpeng, and Li Auto.

Keep an eye on the closing tape for Tesla, NIO, and Lucid shares into the bell. Any after-hours headlines on EV demand, FSD progress, or policy chatter could extend or fade today's bid across the group.
