Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted on a rare outing in casual-chic ensembles.

The famous twin sisters, 40, were photographed walking around New York City on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Ashley opted for a more autumnal look, sporting a black long-sleeve sweater with distressed black jeans. She paired her look with black leather sandals and a matching black leather Marlo bag, both from The Row.

She accessorized with a pair of small-frame black sunglasses and an oversized brown crocodile tote.

The sisters’ outing comes weeks before their brand, The Row, will present its Spring/Summer 2027 collection during Paris Fashion Week in late September.

The Full House alums launched the brand in 2005, after wanting to design the “perfect white tee” without any logos or branding, for The ONE Campaign. That eventually evolved into The Row, a brand named after Savile Row, a street in London’s Mayfair area with a nearly 200-year history of bespoke tailoring.

From its inception, the brand has prided itself on “exceptional fabrics, impeccable details, and precise tailoring,” per its website. Mary-Kate explained to British Voguein 2019 that the brand and its quality are “something that speaks for itself.”

Ashley admitted that getting their business off the ground was “very hard at the beginning” and even in recent years, but they have since landed their designs at Barneys New York. The duo explained to Interviewin 2011 that the core designs for The Row’s first collection included a tank top, dress, blazer and stretch-leather leggings.

Since then, items have consistently flown off the rack and been presented at fashion shows across the globe. While the brand has been at various shows, the twins have kept their presence elusive and were last seen backstage at one of their presentations in September 2022.

In September 2025, the two attended a New York Fashion Week event hosted by Bloomingdale’s and W Magazine. At the event, they coordinated their looks with oversized scarves in different prints and posed together alongside the publication’s Editor-in-Chief, Sara Moonves.
