The drama surrounding The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives isn’t slowing down anytime soon—this time, it’s Jessi Draper Ngatikaura at the center of it.

According to online court records obtained by TMZ on Thursday, March 19, Jessi’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce in Utah that same day after five years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in October 2020, have had a rocky relationship in the public eye which was a huge talking point in Season 4 of Mormon Wives. They’ve also had multiple separations over the years before ultimately reconciling.

Jordan addressed the split in a statement to the outlet, saying, “This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”

He continued, “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”

The former couple share two children together—a son and a daughter—along with Jordan’s daughter from a previous relationship.

And Jessi isn’t the only one in the extended Mormon Wives universe facing major headlines right now. Taylor Frankie Paul, arguably the show’s most talked-about personality, recently saw her Bachelorette season scrapped by ABC following resurfaced allegations of domestic violence involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

The decision came after a newly surfaced video, also released by the outlet, appeared to show Paul assaulting her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement.
