The NFL is all about parity, and Week 1 will deliver high-powered matchups right out of the gate that'll start creating separation in several key divisions across the league. After months of roster construction, coaching changes, training camp practices, and preseason evaluations, meaningful NFL football has returned. The Week 1 slate of games is out, with Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady calling Eagles-Commanders during Fox’s late window.
Week 1 will feature several intriguing matchups, beginning with the season kickoff game as New England visits Seattle on Wednesday night in a Super Bowl rematch and San Francisco facing the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, on Thursday. The opening slate concludes Monday night with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Denver Broncos. Philadelphia will begin its season at Lincoln Financial Field against Washington in an NFC East matchup carrying immediate divisional implications. The broadcast coverage map from 506 Sports has been released, and Eagles-Commanders will be Fox’s primary late-afternoon game.
The Eagles will be featured prominently across the country as Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and Philadelphia’s star-studded defense open the season against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders.
