Disney+ is celebrating the new season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians with an immersive fan experience inside the Empire State Building in New York City

The Empire State Building takeover goes from Nov. 16 to Dec. 4

Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premieres Friday, Nov. 20

Mount Olympus is coming to New York City.

This fall, Disney is launching an immersive fan experience to celebrate season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the “Olympus Awaits” activation will bring viewers into the fantastical world of Percy Jackson from Monday, Nov. 16 to Friday, Dec. 4.

“Olympus Awaits” will ascend fans to the “600th floor,” where they will enter an epic Throne Room, adorned with towering thrones inspired by the Greek gods. Throughout their journey, fans will discover hidden references to the series, engage in interactive elements and experience immersive photo moments.

For fans who’d rather stay close to Earth than go beyond the clouds, there will be a special “Hand of Talos” installation on the ground floor. There, visitors can have a free photo opportunity that captures the same Mount Olympus magic.

Select visitors will receive special Percy Jackson–themed keepsakes, including a key to Olympus and other treasures. Visitors will also be able to purchase exclusive Percy Jackson and the Olympians x Empire State Building merchandise at the building’s gift shop.

On Friday, Nov. 20, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 premiere day, the Empire State Building will display lights inspired by the legendary home of the gods, adding “the Glow from Olympus” to the New York City skyline.

Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the third installment of Rick Riordan’s bestselling book series, The Titan’s Curse, and follows Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth Chase (Leah Jeffries) at Camp Half-Blood in their fight against the Titan Atlas (Holt McCallany).

“If Percy Jackson learned anything after completing two epic quests with Annabeth Chase, it’s that he would be lost without her. So when Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her,” reads an official synopsis.

“He must free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan’s curse, and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus,” the synopsis continues. “With Grover by his side, Percy must join some unlikely questmates to confront a prophecy with dire consequences.”

At New York Comic Con in October, Scobell, 17, told PEOPLE about Percy’s journey in the new installment as he copes during Annabeth’s absence.

“I think it’s kind of forced him to step up and he’s relied on Annabeth before to be the one to make these decisions and figure out ways out of these things,” he said. “There’s growth there to emotionally regulate everybody, but Percy has to step up and him and Thalia kind of have this problem with each other in the beginning. I think they both realize they have to figure out a way around that, which is be more like Annabeth, I guess.”

Along with Scobell, Simhadri and Jeffries, Dior Goodjohn, Daniel Diemer and Lin-Manuel Miranda are expected to reprise their roles. Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie are set to join the cast as demigod siblings Nico di Angelo and Bianca di Angelo.

Dafne Keen will star in season 3 as the goddess Artemis, and Saara Chaudry will portray her lieutenant, Zoë Nightshade. Kate McKinnon will act as the Greek goddess Aphrodite.

Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premieres Friday, Nov. 20, on Disney+ and Hulu.
