A source told RadarOnline that critics allegedly focused on the controversy surrounding the duke rather than his charity work for the military community. They stated that the father of two has thrown himself into “everything connected with Invictus.” It was said to be one cause that’s close to his heart.

“But every time he comes back to Britain, the focus quickly shifts from the veterans to the controversy surrounding him,” they added. Furthermore, the insider mentioned that Harry has many people who “admire his work.” However, there seemed to be a “large section of the public” who reportedly criticized the duke’s return to the UK.

“[Critics] simply aren’t interested in welcoming him back. He knows opinion remains deeply split, and that’s unlikely to change any time soon,” the source said. According to the report, Harry seemed excited and said to have had a great time at the event and other charity-related visits. However, an insider claimed, “Harry might be laughing, but he is being absolutely mauled by his critics.”

“The feeling in Britain among masses of the public is simply, ‘Why are you here? Go home.’ No one cares about him,” they added.
