Prince Harry is proceeding with his UK engagements on Saturday, July 11, just mere hours after achieving his desired family gathering with the King.
Last night, confirmation emerged that the King and Queen welcomed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex along with their two children at Highgrove House on Friday afternoon.
Archie, seven, and Lili, five, last encountered their grandfather face-to-face during Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee festivities in 2022. The encounter between Charles and the young royals is expected to be viewed as an indication that relations between the King and his son, Harry, are improving.

The Duke of Sussex was spotted departing Althorp House in Northamptonshire, the residence of his uncle Earl Spencer, this morning as he traveled to Scotty's Summer Festival at Maxstoke Castle in Warwickshire, serving in his capacity as global ambassador of Scotty's Little Soldier, a charity supporting bereaved military children and young people.
Harry had anticipated receiving armed police protection during his significant visit this week, but was angered when this failed to materialize, compelling him to cancel Meghan and their children's long-scheduled trip to the UK.

But on Thursday night, it appeared that upgraded security had been implemented, with worries about the safety of the duchess and her children addressed. Consequently, they would journey to Britain to join Harry.
Nevertheless, it was emphasized that, despite briefings suggesting otherwise, the Duchess would not be participating in any public engagements with her husband.
She had been anticipated to accompany Harry at the Invictus one-year-to-go event at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on Friday, though this ultimately did not happen.
The Duchess of Sussex is believed to have flown into Britain on Friday morning with the couple's two young children, having previously been vacationing elsewhere in Europe.

The duration of the Sussex family's stay at Highgrove remains undisclosed, though the notable family reunion follows a difficult week for the Duke, who lost a £50 million privacy lawsuit against the publishers of the Daily Mail. Given the private nature of the gathering, Buckingham Palace has confirmed that no photographs or additional details will be made public.
