Prince William and Kate Middleton may have another personal dilemma to navigate, this time involving their daughter, Princess Charlotte. For those unfamiliar, the Waleses recently dropped off their eldest son, Prince George, at Eton College.

However, the prestigious school is exclusively for boys, meaning Charlotte will not be able to follow her brother there. For now, Charlotte continues to attend Lambrook School alongside her younger brother, Prince Louis.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly dealing with a school dilemma when it comes to Princess Charlotte. Sources attached to Radar Online said that the Waleses will have to admit Charlotte to a different college, since Eton is not an option for girls. As per the outlet, the couple can consider Middleton’s former school, Marlborough College.

A royal source explained that William and Kate are committed to giving their children a normal upbringing and great education. The Waleses want to choose the best school for Charlotte, where she can “flourish” and have her own individual identity.

The insider predicted that William and Kate may eventually consider Marlborough College for Charlotte. The Princess of Wales is well-versed in the school and the life there and can guide her daughter the best. “That familiarity could be enormously reassuring when making such a significant decision,” the insider added.

Interestingly, Princess Anne’s journey could serve as an inspiration to Charlotte. For those unversed, Anne is considered to be one of the hardest-working royals and has carved her own niche while still maintaining her royal status. The source explained: “Charlotte’s circumstances are different, but there is certainly a family precedent for allowing a royal daughter to establish an identity away from her brothers.”

Meanwhile, William and Kate dropped off George at Eton College on September 8. The young prince is following in his father’s and uncle’s footsteps by attending the well-respected boarding school. As per photos shared by PEOPLE, George was all smiles as he walked alongside his parents, dressed smartly in a suit.

Interestingly, then Prince Charles and Princess Diana dropped off a young William at Eton College in 1995, over 30 years ago.
