Priscilla Presley's son is trying to raise money for a new business endeavor.

Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, 39, is crowdfunding to raise the funds he needs for his homemade pizza pie business. The son of Elvis Presley's ex-wife and Brazilian producer Marco Garibaldi launched a GoFundMe to raise $5,500 to purchase an industrial oven, which he plans to use to bake pies and sell them straight from his driveway.

Navarone initially needed $14K for a secondhand oven, but he said he was able to negotiate it down to $8,500. While adding $3,000 of his own cash toward it, he still needs the $5,500, and he's not going to his mother or famous family to foot the bill. This comes after Priscilla shared what she and Elvis did every night as newlyweds.

While speaking with TMZ about why he hasn't asked his family for the money, he said he's got a budget and expenses. Plus, he doesn't want to financially criple his mother.

Mentioning Priscilla, he said, "She loves the idea, but I can't ask for money for every whimsical idea I have, or we both would be broke!" However, he believes she'll stop by for a slice.

Navarone told the outlet he's fulfilling a dream of owning a business and has time to focus on it now that he's stepped back from his band.

He plans to sell affordable, organic pies right from his driveway, but added that he's also open to a brick-and-mortar shop if the driveway route gains traction.

Priscilla and her former partner, music producer Marco Garibaldi, welcomed Navarone in 1987 - over 21 years after she and Elvis Presley welcomed their first and only child, daughter Lisa Marie.

Soon after Navarone was born, an ex of Marco's called Priscilla and told her, "[Garibaldi is] not who you think he is." As Navarone later explained to PEOPLE, his mother told the person not to call again "because she didn't know what to do with that information."

Priscilla and Marco never married, but remained a couple for over 20 years before splitting in 2006. However, Navarone and his mother have stayed close.

"I got in trouble more than everybody else, because kids' parents would find out who my mom was, and they'd want a reason to talk to her," he told PEOPLE in February 2023. "I wasn't very comfortable with it."

Like his older sister, Navarone launched a music career of his own and has been a member of the band Them Guns since 2012.

He told PEOPLE, "I thought, 'OK, I'm going into the family business. I'll write a song, and then we'll start touring it.' I didn't realize it takes way more than that."

In February 2022, Navarone married his longtime girlfriend, Elisa Achilli, in her native Switzerland.

Weeks after Lisa Marie's death, Navarone opened up about his struggles with substance abuse and addiction to PEOPLE, which dated back to when he was in high school.

As a teen, he used heroin before becoming addicted to fentanyl. "I was under the impression I was doing heroin, but then it'd turn out to be fentanyl. That was a whole different beast. I became so addicted that I'd need it every 45 minutes," he told PEOPLE in February 2023.

Elisa helped Navarone get clean in 2020. He explained, "When COVID happened, I wanted to go [to Switzerland] and see her for more than three or four days.

"I didn't want to have to bring a pound of fentanyl with me anywhere I went. I buckled down and said, 'Let's see how bad this can get.' I was pretty much in my bed in the fetal position all day. It feels like a different lifetime, almost. The whole world got a lot better [afterward]."

In September 2025, Priscilla opened up to PEOPLE about helping her son through fentanyl and heroin withdrawal. She said, after his detox from heroin, Garcia has "been sober ever since."

Navarone attended Lisa Marie's funeral in late January 2023 at Elvis' Tennessee home, Graceland.

After his sister's death, he shared a photo of the pair from childhood in a since-deleted post on Instagram and wrote, "Big sister... i hope you are now at peace and happy with your Dad and your son by your side.

"I know the past couple years weren't easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us. regardless, you are my sister and I'm sending love and prayers for your journey home. I still can't believe this, I'm lost for words. Love you sis. Beijos."
