Red Bull's Up The Mast challenge will take place in Plymouth on 26 September
A slippery challenge from Red Bull is making a return to a South West city following a successful first year.
The drinks company is bringing its Up The Mast event back to the Barbican & Sutton Harbour in Plymouth, Devon, from 12:00 to 16:30 BST on 26 September.
The challenge, which was held for the first time in the city in 2025, involves "an all-out sprint up a greased mast" to grab a flag as quickly as possible with participants ending up in the water at the end.
Red Bull said the event, which spectators can watch for free, was open to people aged 18 or over with about 200 competitors expected to take part.

Organisers said the challenge would test the "speed, skill and sheer determination" of competitors.
"The fastest to grab the flag in the final round will be declared the ultimate winner and hero of Plymouth for the day," a Red Bull spokesperson added.
Anyone who wants to enter should visit the event's website.
