Ric Flair has clarified his stance on the AEW All In main event between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega after his earlier comments drew criticism and comparisons to Eric Bischoff. The Nature Boy now wants to make one thing clear — he doesn’t want his opinion grouped with Bischoff’s.

Flair initially pushed back against comparisons between Omega and Ospreay’s rivalry and his celebrated matches with Ricky Steamboat. He argued that his rivalry with Steamboat had a different level of longevity and output, writing, “When They Have A Great Match 300 Times A Year And 200 Hour Broadways, Get Back To Me!”

Flair also concluded, “Until Then, There Is No Problem With Being Number Two,” while praising Omega and Ospreay as great young talents.

The comments drew a response from Jim Ross, who called Flair’s take “out of place” during an episode of Grilling JR. Ross added, “I thought it was unnecessary. I respect his opinion. That doesn’t mean I have to agree with it.”

Eric Bischoff separately criticized the All In match, comparing it to a Nasty Boys match and questioning its structure. Flair has now distanced himself from Bischoff’s assessment while insisting he enjoyed the bout.

In a post on X, Flair wrote:

“Please Don’t Put Me In The Same Category As Eric Bischoff @EBischoff! I Thoroughly Enjoyed The Match. I Know Both Kenny & Will And Have Sung Their Praises To Them Personally. I Have Nothing But Respect For Them. When I Tweeted This Yesterday, It’s Just An Opinion Like Every Other Sport And Watching Get Up Or First Take On ESPN. Doesn’t Mean It’s Right, Doesn’t Mean It’s Wrong. It’s Just An Opinion. Eric Should Just Focus On His New Amateur Wrestling Project. The Same Applies To Jim Ross @JRsBBQ And His Comments. If You Mention My Name, Of Course I Am Going To Respond.”

Flair’s clarification separates his criticism from Bischoff’s more direct dismissal of the match. For now, the debate over Omega and Ospreay’s All In classic continues.
