Ric Flair has clarified his stance on the AEW All In main event between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega after his earlier comments drew criticism and comparisons to Eric Bischoff. The Nature Boy now wants to make one thing clear â he doesnât want his opinion grouped with Bischoffâs.
Flair initially pushed back against comparisons between Omega and Ospreayâs rivalry and his celebrated matches with Ricky Steamboat. He argued that his rivalry with Steamboat had a different level of longevity and output, writing, âWhen They Have A Great Match 300 Times A Year And 200 Hour Broadways, Get Back To Me!â
Flair also concluded, âUntil Then, There Is No Problem With Being Number Two,â while praising Omega and Ospreay as great young talents.
The comments drew a response from Jim Ross, who called Flairâs take âout of placeâ during an episode of Grilling JR. Ross added, âI thought it was unnecessary. I respect his opinion. That doesnât mean I have to agree with it.â

Eric Bischoff separately criticized the All In match, comparing it to a Nasty Boys match and questioning its structure. Flair has now distanced himself from Bischoffâs assessment while insisting he enjoyed the bout.

In a post on X, Flair wrote:
âPlease Donât Put Me In The Same Category As Eric Bischoff @EBischoff! I Thoroughly Enjoyed The Match. I Know Both Kenny & Will And Have Sung Their Praises To Them Personally. I Have Nothing But Respect For Them. When I Tweeted This Yesterday, Itâs Just An Opinion Like Every Other Sport And Watching Get Up Or First Take On ESPN. Doesnât Mean Itâs Right, Doesnât Mean Itâs Wrong. Itâs Just An Opinion. Eric Should Just Focus On His New Amateur Wrestling Project. The Same Applies To Jim Ross @JRsBBQ And His Comments. If You Mention My Name, Of Course I Am Going To Respond.â
Flairâs clarification separates his criticism from Bischoffâs more direct dismissal of the match. For now, the debate over Omega and Ospreayâs All In classic continues.
