A week after announcing her pregnancy, Savannah Chrisley shared an update on social media, revealing that she and her new beau, Jason Galanis, will be welcoming a “sweet miracle boy.”

“IT’S A BOY!!!” the reality star wrote on Instagram, alongside a gender-reveal video. “My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for and more. The most beautiful reminder that God’s plans are always greater than our own.”

The video shows Savannah and Galanis sitting together on a blanket as they look through sonogram photos. It then cuts to a white, heart-shaped cake, which is sliced open to reveal blue icing. Savannah’s parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, and her grandmother, Nanny Faye, also make appearances in the video.

“The past few days have reminded me just how cruel this world can be. But no amount of hate could ever overshadow the joy of loving you. You are a MIRACLE,” Savannah continued in the caption.

Savannah was referencing the criticism she’s received after it was revealed that her new mystery man is convicted fraudster Jason Galanis. In 2020, Galanis was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for his part in “two multimillion-dollar fraud schemes,” according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

Days after going public with her pregnancy, People confirmed that Savannah and Galanis got married on Tuesday, July 14, at Cayman Islands Baptist Church. The marriage followed a year of dating and came just two days before Galanis’ 56th birthday.

“My precious baby boy, your daddy and I will spend the rest of our lives protecting you, praying over you, and loving you beyond measure,” the Chrisley Knows Best alum added in her latest post. “We may not be able to shield you from every bit of darkness in this world, but we promise to raise you to be a LIGHT in it.”

She concluded, “You are already our greatest blessing, our answered prayer, and the sweetest chapter of our lives. God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave us YOU. WE GET TO BE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY!!!”

Last week, Todd shared his thoughts on his daughter’s new relationship, telling the Dumb Blonde podcast that he was reluctant to “embrace” it at first. Todd, who was convicted of bank and tax fraud in 2022, shared time in the same prison as Galanis in 2023.

“He’s 20 years older, and it was not something I embraced because… I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make,” Todd said. “It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter. And nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter.”
