Savannah Guthrie jokingly questioned her friendship with her Today show co-host Jenna Bush Hager after finding out that she has never watched the Star Wars movies.

On the Today show on Wednesday, Sept. 9, the hosts discussed the news that the original Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope will be offered in IMAX 70mm when it releases in early 2027 for its 50th anniversary, marking the first time the 1977 Star Wars movie will be available in the IMAX screening format.

Guthrie, 54, was shocked to find out that her close friend and colleague, Bush Hager, has never seen Star Wars before, which is her favorite movie.
