Sharon Osbourne shared an emotional message to mark what would have been her 46th wedding anniversary with late husband Ozzy Osbourne.
On Saturday, July 4, she posted a photo on Instagram of the pair's clasped hands and wrote, "Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary. Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish."
"I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way," Sharon, 73, continued. "Forever my husband. Forever my heart."
A number of Sharon's celebrated friends shared their support in the comments. "I am sending you all my love Mrs. O. 🙏🏽🤍🕊️," Nicole Sherzinger wrote.
Carrie Ann Inaba shared that she has a similar photo of Sharon and Ozzy. "I have this digital photo frame that chooses photos and videos randomly from my feed and it often chooses photos from Ozzy's birthday," she commented. "And I have this one photo of you two holding hands and it always reminds me of the most beautiful love. An eternally beautiful love. ❤️."
Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the Black Sabbath frontman's family told PEOPLE in a statement at the time. "He was with his family and surrounded by love."
Weeks before his death, Ozzy performed from a throne at the Black Sabbath farewell concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England — the city where the heavy metal band was formed.
According to a death certificate obtained by PEOPLE, Ozzy died of "out of hospital cardiac arrest" and "acute myocardial infarction," with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction listed as "joint causes."

Sharon broke her silence on the loss of her husband in an Instagram post on Sept. 12. The British TV star shared how she was navigating her grief and thanked fans for their support.
"I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media," she captioned a video of herself and daughter Kelly, 41, at a falconry.
"Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights," Sharon continued, adding, "I'm still finding my footing."

Sharon and Ozzy's love story began in 1979 when they started dating, nearly a decade after first meeting in 1970. At the time, Sharon's father was managing Black Sabbath.
In 1979, Sharon took over as Ozzy's manager and encouraged him to pursue a solo career. He released his 1980 debut single "Crazy Train," and it became a hit.
The pair married on July 4, 1982, in Hawaii. Their first child, daughter Aimee, was born in September 1983. Sharon and Ozzy then welcomed Kelly in October 1984, followed by son Jack in November 1985.
After 35 years of marriage, they renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas on Mother's Day in 2017.
In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Sharon said she and Ozzy were "still in love" after nearly four decades together and despite ups and downs in their relationship over the years.
"We never gave up on each other," she said. "I mean, I wasn't a saint. Ozzy wasn't a saint. I gave him as good as he gave me. We're just meant to be."
"Also, you have to realize that you can't change anyone," Sharon added. "At the beginning, you go, 'After he's been with me a while, he'll change. He'll calm down.' You can't change anyone, so a lot of it is acceptance."
