Simone Biles is not giving any explanations when it comes to her friendship with Taylor Swift.

The 11-time Olympic medalist was in attendance when the pop star tied the knot with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Biles attended the star-studded event with her own NFL beau, her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, and shared photos from the day on Instagram.

While many on Instagram praised her blood red dress, designed by DO LONG and accessorized with Maison Spoiled High Jewelry, one comment prompted a response from Biles.

The comment asked: “When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?😂”

Biles responded, “remember this, I only show y’all what I want y’all to know.”

The decorated gymnast proudly displayed her respect for Swift in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials when she used Swift’s track “Ready for It” for the first part of her floor routine.

The routine promoted a response from Swift on X, who wrote in reaction to a video of the routine posted by the NBC Olympics & Paralympics account. “Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho👏👏👏🥇🇺🇸❤.”

Swift also voiced her support for Biles in 2021 as she returned to competition at the Tokyo Olympics after pulling out of many events due to the “twisties,” which occur when athletes lose their sense of air awareness, putting them at risk of injury on landing.

Biles ended up winning a bronze medal in the balance beam final at the Tokyo Games after Swift had narrated a video about Biles for NBC’s coverage of the games.

“What do we want from our heroes?” Swift stated at the beginning of the promo. “What do we expect from them? What do we need from them? What happens when they surprise us? When you have the attention of the world, everything you do takes on a bigger meaning. It can be a heavy burden. It can be a chance to change everything.”

“Throughout the last week, her voice has been as significant as her talents,” continued Swift in the clip. “Her honesty as beautiful as the perfection that had long been her signature. But don’t you see? It still is. She is perfectly human. And that’s what makes it so easy to call her a hero.”

Biles responded to the video: “I’m crying 🥺🤍 how special. I love you @taylorswift13.”

Swift then replied to Biles, “I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you.”
