Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham made an unexpected appearance at UFC 329 on Saturday night, serving as a special guest Octagon Girl for the co-main event during the card highlighted by Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway.
The event took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where Cunningham and the Fever will face the Aces in a prime-time game to be televised by NBC on Sunday night.
Cunningham held up the Round 1 card for fans to see, pointing to it and pointing at the crowd, an obvious nod to her viral gesture.

Cunningham, one of the league's most recognizable personalities, has become a frequent topic of conversation beyond basketball because of her outspoken nature, physical style of play and growing social media following.
While athletes from other sports have often attended UFC events, it is far less common for active professional players to take on an official role during a fight card. Cunningham is averaging 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21 games (3 starts) for the Fever (13-9) this season.
McGregor ended up losing by injury stoppage just 1:09 into the first round.
