Stephen Colbert obviously couldn't end *The Late Show* without leg wrestling John Krasinski!
The duo joined forces on Thursday night for an off-the-rails interview that found them taking three shots of bourbon and wrapped up with the two men on the ground, wrestling.
The shenanigans began when Krasinski mixed up the sides of the road in England, prompting him to signal to someone off camera that he needed a drink. "If you want anything, I have a bar back here," Colbert said, going to the cabinet behind his desk. Krasinski suggested they should do shots to "reboot" the chat.
As they threw back the first of three small glasses of bourbon, Colbert declared, "I have no idea where we are in this interview, and I do not care!"
In the past, the longtime friends have arm wrestled on several occasions, but Colbert had a new idea for their last *Late Show* chat. "You look like a guy who skips leg day," Colbert joked. "You want to leg wrestle? What I lack in bicep, I make up for in haunch."
The interview then continued, with Krasinski teasing the upcoming start of production on *A Quiet Place Part III*. But Colbert eventually circled back to his leg wrestling challenge, and he was surprised to learn that Krasinski seemed unfamiliar with the activity. "Do you have brothers?" Colbert asked.
Before getting into the official match, they cleared space on the stage and Colbert took Krasinski through a demonstration: you lie side by side, hook each other's leg, and you try to flip the other guy over.
"Can someone call an ambulance now?" Krasinski said ahead of the real thing.
