Sydney Sweeney summed up her provocative Novig campaign with the line, “Think you know sports? Prove it.” The “Euphoria” star fronted the “Just Sports” ad while also joining the sports prediction market as a strategic partner and equity holder. The campaign showed her posing with athletic gear, but Sweeney said the concept was direct. She described it as “a very simple and playful idea” built around sports.

As per a Complex exclusive, Sydney Sweeney joined Novig as an equity partner. The outlet said she helped shape the “Just Sports” ad while filming “Gundam” live-action in Australia. Sweeney said she had been part of “the creative conversations from the very beginning,” adding that she had built “an amazing relationship” with the team. Simultaneously, her Instagram post with Novig carried the caption “just sports @novig” and “#partner.”
However, the campaign’s message stayed simple despite its provocative visuals. Sweeney called “Just Sports” “a very simple and playful idea.” She said it aimed to “really bring the concept of ‘just sports’ to life.” The ad showed the actress with footballs, basketballs, a hockey net, and other gear. In the spot, she said, “Think you know sports? Prove it.” She also said Novig was “just sports.”

Moreover, Sweeney stressed that this was not a basic celebrity endorsement, telling Complex, “I don’t like to just put my face on something.” The actress said she wanted to “get into the weeds” with the team. She also praised founder Jacob Fortinsky and said she “believed in him.”
Meanwhile, Fortinsky said in a statement that sports fans deserved “a prediction market built specifically for them.” He added that Sweeney helped make the message “impossible to ignore.” Thus, for Sweeney and Novig, the “Just Sports” ad became both a brand partnership and a headline-making rollout.
