Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s London trip quickly turned into an online guessing game. The singer and Chiefs tight end were seen in London on May 7. Their outing included dinner, theater, and coordinated dark blue blazers. However, the photos sparked confused posts from fans. Several users asked why the engaged couple had crossed the Atlantic before their wedding. The timing made the sighting more noticeable after recent wedding chatter.

Fans can’t figure out why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in London

As per PEOPLE, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce left Gymkhana in London. They were photographed holding hands after dinner at the Indian restaurant. The London trip also included British cinematographer Rina Yang. Yang worked with Swift on “All Too Well: The Short Film.” Meanwhile, the engaged couple wore dark blue blazers. Swift also carried a pale green handbag.

Soon after, the London trip became a fan puzzle on X (formerly Twitter). Under the post uploaded by @21metgala, one user replied, “genuine question, why would they be in london?” Another asked, “What are they doing in London?” A third added, “In London doing what.”

However, the couple reportedly attended Sadie Sink’s “Romeo & Juliet” at the Harold Pinter Theatre. They were seen giving Sink a standing ovation. The production opened on March 16, and stars Sink opposite Noah Jupe.

The appearance also linked back to Swift’s creative circle. Sink starred in Swift’s Grammy-winning “All Too Well: The Short Film.” In a previous Bustle interview, Sink called Swift “such a huge part” of her life. She added, “It was super surreal,” after years of using Swift songs for roles.

Separately, Kelce had discussed the wedding mood on “New Heights.” Rory McIlroy compared the guest-room feeling to a wedding day. Kelce replied, “I can’t wait.” At March’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, Swift called Kelce her “fiancé.” She said her album felt “happy and strong and confident and free.” Earlier, Kylie Kelce said Swift made her brother-in-law “more adventurous with food.” The Chiefs’ tight end joked, “I’m more of a man when I’m around her.”

For now, London looked like dinner, theater, and support for collaborators.
