Harry Kane and his wife, Katie Kane, have four children: Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry

Ivy and Vivienne share the same middle name, and Louis was given his father’s first name as his middle name

The couple’s children often attend Harry’s games, including a special moment celebrating his historic scoring record in 2026

Harry Kane is a proud father of four.

The England national soccer team captain became a dad for the first time in 2017, when he and his wife, Katie Kane, welcomed their daughter Ivy. Shortly after her birth, he opened up about how becoming a dad had shifted his priorities both on and off the field.

“I’m getting into a new routine; there’s not as much time when I come home from training now because of all my dad duties,” Harry said, per The Standard. “It’s a bit surreal still but it’s been great. I still want to win games; I’d say even more so now for her.”

He went on to joke about how it was “important to have time away” from the game and that Ivy’s arrival meant that he and Katie “won’t talk about football as much.” The couple went on to have another daughter, Vivienne, in 2018, followed by Louis in 2020 and Henry in 2023.

Harry and Katie’s daughters were born just over a year apart and share the same middle name.

They welcomed Ivy Jane Kane in January 2017, per The Independent. The pair then had Vivienne Jane Kane in August 2018.

The soccer player revealed on X that his wife had delivered their second daughter via water birth. “Our beautiful addition to the family!” he wrote alongside a family photo, in part.

Two years later, Harry shared another picture to announce Louis’ birth in December 2020.

“Our beautiful boy has arrived,” he wrote on X, revealing that he had passed down his first name to his first son. “Louis Harry Kane. I couldn’t be more proud of my wife Kate. Special way to finish the year.”

The couple welcomed their fourth child, Henry Edward Kane, in August 2023. Harry announced his son’s arrival on Instagram, with the caption “Love you baby boy!”

He said being a dad “means everything”

Though Harry has kept his family mostly out of the spotlight, he has shared a bit about how fatherhood has changed him.

Speaking to SoccerBible in February 2025, the athlete opened up about what it means to share his professional success with his wife and kids.

“It means everything,” he said. “Being a dad and a husband is the most important part of my life. Football is huge for me, but having my family here to see what I do is special.”

Harry said, “Watching my kids grow up and start to understand football — and realising I’m not bad at scoring a few goals — is an incredible feeling. I look forward to sharing more experiences with them as they get older.”

All four of Harry’s kids have been spotted at his games throughout the years.

Notably, they joined him on the field following Bayern Munich’s win against Cologne in the league finale in May 2026 — during which he made history as the league’s first player to win the top scorer trophy in each of his first three seasons in Germany, per Reuters.

He later shared a heartfelt video on Instagram of him hugging his kids after the game, which he captioned, “Special moments… even if covered in celebratory beer 😂.”

Harry and Katie moved their family to Germany in 2023

In 2023, Harry signed a contract with Bayern Munich and left London for Germany.

He later told SoccerBible that living in Munich had worked out well for his wife and their kids.

“It’s different from living in London, but the people here have been so welcoming,” the soccer player said.

He added, “There’s a lot of outdoor living, which has been amazing for my family. It’s been a positive move, and we’re really happy here.”
