Why Cirie Fields is retiring from 'Survivor' after her 5th season
After her fifth run on Survivor, legendary castaway Cirie Fields is officially stepping away from the game.
Cirie shared with Entertainment Weekly's Dalton Ross after she was voted out on this week's Survivor 50 episode that this season will be her last as a contestant.

It's sad news for everyone who loves watching Cirie work her all-time social game on the island. She's one of the best to ever do it in the game, perhaps the all-time social strategist in Survivor history.

"I have received so much more than I bargained for from this 20, 21-year experience," Fields told Ross about her decision to retire. "I don't really need to prove [anything]."
However, she hinted that her days of competing on reality television might not be over. Could we see Cirie on a season of The Traitors one day? We're not counting that out at all.
